Hi Miriam , I really enjoy watching your tutorials. Where did you get your pretty back drop . First time watching you live from Mountain View, California. I have my village in a cabinet . I want to build up my confidence to make the bases to have it for Christmas and move it out of the cabinet . I need to figure out which tools are good for a beginner . I get all my styrofoam from packing boxes. From either work or friends. I just got two massive blocks from a coworker from her new fireplace. They are literally 12in by 14in by 20in. (1 has a small rectangle cutout in the middle and the other is solid.) I’ve only bought 3 pieces of 1/4 in styrofoam from Michael’s crafts for my thin areas. For my village plans, it’ll be an add on from what last year failed to become. Lol. We lost our big cat in November, then We got a tiny kitten who was into everything in mid December. So I wasn’t able to do anything I wanted cause it would get destroyed. This year I can finally build my mountain village. He older and not as nutty.

This is just perfect. You are a great teacher and I love your attention to details..so realistic. I'm so anxious to get to work on my village this year. I need to get started. I didn't give myself enough time last season and didn't finish. Was disappointed in myself,but not going to happen this year. Thank you for all of your knowledge and inspiration❤
